Living God's Mission

Harvest Mass

Thank you to our parents and school community for their wonderful gifts for our Harvest Mass and contributions to our Parish Food Bank.
Father Ted joined us in school to give special thanks for Harvest.
We are so pleased that we can support our church, Ss. Austin and Gregory, by sharing our food and enabling Father Ted and his team to distribute to those in need in our local community.
CAFOD Harvest Assembly
Loving God,
We pray for our sisters and brothers around the world who are hungry.
We pray for world leaders to make wise decisions,
so that food can reach those who need it the most.
Amen

CAFOD Walk Against Hunger
As part of our ongoing support for CAFOD, the whole school took part in the 'Walk against Hunger' Campaign.
We know that together, we can reach out with love to help our sisters and brothers around the world who are facing extreme hunger through no fault of their own.
Children were sponsored to walk a range of distances in order to raise money to support this wonderful campaign. We were so proud of their efforts and achievements.
Supporting the Parish Food Bank
Thank you to all our families and the local community for supporting our efforts to help Fr Ted and the local parish church with their food bank appeal. Helping to support those in need is very important to our school and helps us to understand and live out the teachings of Jesus.

Ukraine Appeal

Loving God,
We pray for the people of Ukraine,
for all those suffering or afraid,
that you will be close to them and protect them.
We pray for world leaders,
for compassion, strength and wisdom to guide their choices.
We pray for the world
that in this moment of crisis,
we may reach out in solidarity
to our brothers and sisters in need.
May we walk in your ways
so that peace and justice
become a reality for the people of Ukraine
and for all the world.
Amen
In response to the crisis in Ukraine, our children and families have worked hard to donate items to support those families in Ukraine who are going through pain and suffering. Thank you to the staff and parents at St Mary's Whitstable who have ensured that the donations reach those in need.
